DeMatteo Research, LLC is critically aware of the importance of protecting the privacy and security of the personal information of our Clients and our affirmative obligation to do so.  We protect the confidentiality and security of non-public information we obtain from and about our customers, including information we receive on an application or on other forms.  The information that we collect may relate to your finances, employment, avocations or other personal data.  We do not share this information with any third parties except for the specific purposes described below.

We collect information relating to you because we are required to do so by the rules of the Securities and Exchange Commission or the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and to enable us to deliver superior service to you in processing your transactions and administering our business.  The non-public personal information we collect about you comes primarily from the account applications or other forms you submit to us.  We may also collect information about your transactions and other products and services we provide.  We may obtain additional information from consumer reporting agencies.

Our employees are required to protect the confidentiality of your information and access it only when there is an appropriate reason to do so.  We safeguard your information physically, electronically or procedurally in compliance with applicable laws.

We disclose your information to third parties only when it is necessary to do so or when we are required to do so by law.  For example, information may be disclosed to our accountants, auditors, attorneys or other professionals, as well as to law enforcement or regulatory agencies. We may also disclose it to issuers of securities that you own, or to computer-related, data maintenance or processing companies performing services for us, to our clearing broker, or to issuers of securities.

We do not disclose the non-public personal information we collect about you to anyone except: (i) in furtherance of our business relationship with them and then only to those persons necessary to effect the transactions and provide the services they provide (such as broker-dealers, custodians, etc.); (ii) to persons assessing our compliance with industry standards (e.g. regulators, etc.); (iii) our attorneys, accountants, and auditors; or (iv) as otherwise provided by law.  No non-public personal information is provided to outside firms for marketing purposes.

Except for the limited circumstances mentioned above, we do not disclose your non-public information to other companies who may want to sell their products or services to you without your consent.  Even if you are no longer our customer, our policy will continue to apply.

This policy applies to products or services that we provide that are primarily for personal, family or household purposes (not business purposes).  We reserve the right to change this policy at any time
